Did you know your Wii can receive E-mails?

It even has it's own E-mail address.

Things You'll Need

* Nintendo Wii with Internet Connection

Step One

On the main screen of the Wii, there will be a circle with an envelope in the bottom right. Click on that.

Your Wii's E-mail address is w[friendcode]@wii.com.

Step Two

Then you will find a button that says ADDRESS BOOK. The cover/first page of the Address Book will have your Wii number.

Step Three

Your Wii's E-mail address is w[friendcode]@wii.com.

You will use the same icon (circle with an envelope) to check and read your E-mails.

BONUS: Add a blue glow to your Wii

The blue lighting around the disc slot normally only glows when the Wii's got some sort of announcement for you, and disappears once you've read it. However, you can make that glow permanent. Just email your own Wii - using the steps above - but never read the message (which can take up to an hour to arrive). As long as it stays unread, the blue light will remain lit.
